Exciting week

This last weekend Brandon and I went up to Temple Square to see the lights. It was really fun, but Salt Lake was crazy!!!

The most exciting thing that happened this week was Brando getting accepted into the NYU School of Dentistry! He was really cute when he wanted to tell me. He came over and told me he wanted to go for a drive. We drove down to the lake, which is our favorite spot, and he made me sit on his tool box. Then he handed me a piece of paper to read and while I was reading his acceptance letter he pulled out a bottle of sparkling cider and opened it when I looked up! Haha it was really cute :) He was really excited. I am not sure how I feel about New York but I think it would be neat.

Maybe the next time he is acting weird I will come home with a ring ;)

Alvin and Brittney!

For Halloween Brandon and I dressed up as Alvin and Brittney from the chipmunks and we were pretty darn cute! We made his costume from a red sweater and some yellow duct tape :) Awesome! We had little get together with my only other friends Alayna and Elayna from my classes. We played games and watched What lies Beneath and it is still scary even though I have seen it like 3 times.

My other Halloween activity was meeting Becky in Gardener Villeage and walking around. I had a series of unfortunate events: I scraped my heel on the edge of a square log, which made me loose my balance and step into the only mud in the entire area, which made me get my favorite green shoes all muddy. We then decided to go to the bathroom to wash off my shoes and go to the bathroom and I didn't lift the strings of my dress up so they ended up in the toilet.... It was not one of my shining moments.

Brandon ALWAYS talks about soccer and how much he loves it. I am not really into soccer at all and I am pretty terrible at it. But, since he is my best friend I decided that I would let him show off for me a little bit. On Monday we went to the park and he tried to teach me how to play soccer. He was so excited! He was bouncing off the walls while we were getting things together. He is actually really good at soccer. I was surprised/ really impressed. He is so great :) We are going to play again tonight after I get off work. I love it that we do so many fun things. Tuesday night he made me go running, and it was not too bad. I like running with someone else because then I don't get bored.

Yellowstone

I had the best weekend and I got to spend it with my best friend. We went up to Yellowstone on Friday afternoon but it took us forever to get there. I LOVE taking trips with Brandon because we have so much fun. We got to talk and be together for about 7 hours! We never run out of things to talk about and he just makes me fall in love with him even more when we have those long talks.

What started about as a fun little trip for the 2 of us turned into a family vacation. His parents met us up there and while we were driving he told me that his aunt and uncle and 2 of his cousins were coming too, SUPPLIES! Lucky for me I am really good at making friends and we had a lot of fun. His dad is a really intimidating person and I was not sure if he liked me, but I am pretty sure not, we made eye contact by the end of the trip so I am going to take that as a good sign :)

On Saturday morning we started out with fishing. We found this really long beach and that way AJ was able to run around and get her energy out. She was so cute, she just doesn't know what to think about waves so she would race up and down the beach bitting at the waves and growling! We also had a camp fire and we cooked hot dogs. I worked really hard on connecting with his mom too and I was successful. It turns out that teachers like to talk about their classes and your teahing experience! Score one for Jenny! After fishing for about 3 hours we decieded to just drive through the park and see the wild life. We saw a really cool elk it bugled for us! Brandon was SO excited :) We also got caught in a hurd of Buffalo for like 45 min.

Then on the way back we stopped by Becky's Birthday party and we brought a cake that Grandmalishious made. It was pretty good. We had a fun time at the party :) and AJ got to play with Char Char! They are Besties.

Teaching

Today I taught a PE class full of 3rd graders all by myself! It was really intimidating and super hard. I watched Jordan go before me and his class was so good. That got my confidence up a little bit. Then my kids got there and they were CRAZY! There was one little boy who was down syndrome, everyone was very nice to him, he was really hard to keep under control. He would just start wrestling people and hitting people. Then there was a little boy who acted out a lot. He picked up the dots and was throwing them. He wandered off during the game and I found him later. Making me look super bad. But I watched the play back of my lesson and I didn't do too bad. I said "You guys" way too much, but I will just have to work on that. I think the kids had fun, they said they did afterward when I asked them :) It was a good experience.

AJ update, she is starting to be more obedient and she actually responds to the word No sometimes! Best news ever! She is so cute. Also Brandon said he would be Alvin because I want to be Brittney. He is the best!

Bad News

I have bad news for those of you who were under the impression that I am perfect, I'm not. It turns out I can mass up and I can hurt people's feelings on accident. I like having fun and living my life the way I want to, and not under a lock and key, or under a microscope. Yes I want to have a boyfriend and yes I want to fall in love. If those things qualify me as being imperfect then sign me up. Though it is a worthy goal.

Andrea's Wedding

This weekend was Andrea's wedding and it was pretty fun :) I got to Babysit my Dad and Chloe during the wedding and Brandon helped me. Brandon spent the majority of the weekend with me and it was so fun! We played on Friday, we went to the mall and bought him some new pants because he didn't have any that didn't have holes in them. We got him some and they look really good in them and he we pretty excited about them. then we went up to Landon's party and he came up to Grandma's with me. We had a sleep over!! He slept on the couch and I slept on the Bed downstairs.

I finally told him about Josh and it was good. He took it well and he still likes me. Then he went to Andrea's wedding and he is a total trooper. He also left the lights on in my car! Haha I'm not the only to forget.

Andrea's wedding was fun because at the reception Becky and I were dancing up a storm! We seriously were the life of the party and I am pretty sure that the camera guys loved us! I also caught the Bouquet! Boo Ya! don't mess with a high jumper with big hips :) I had no mercy and I may or may not have made Becky bleed... It was a good day.

Brandon is Home!

He is finally home and it was so good to see him! I don't think I will let him stay away that long EVER AGAIN! He was so cute when he came over, he made me come out first thing an see the elk in the back of his truck. He was so proud of it. He is so great!

Being forgetful is a little annoying

It turns out that I am the most forgetful person ever. I have had a few errands that I have been meaning to do for the last month and a half and I think I might actually get them done today. I need to go to the bank sometime and I need to go to 7 Peaks and get my last pay check!

Sometimes all you need is a best friend and a puppy

this weekend has made me realize that all you really need in life is a best friend and a puppy. Those two things can take any situation and turn it into something worth remembering. Becky is my hero and she saved my life this weekend. I have been sitting here trying to imagine what I would have been doing without her and it makes me cry. I think I am only crying because I have no control over my emotions right now and I even cried when I told my mom that I killed a spider and then I felt bad. but Jules would have killed it anyways.

Our adventure started out on Friday afternoon when we took off and had to funnest chat. She told me some really neat stories. I don't thing she will ever know just how much she has influenced my life by the example she sets for me.

The next chapter to our adventure was when we slept in the freezing cold camp trailer and ended up spooning :) we are the best spooners! After that we spent all of Saturday entertaining ourselves but still managing to have fun because we are best friends and thats all we need. She even knows how to deal with me when I am upset. She is just quiet until I can work things out in my head and get my feelings sorted, then we can talk again.

As for the puppy she was there to bite me and attach little kids for my entertainment. But then sometimes be so sweet it makes me love her even more. I am so thankful for best friends and puppies.

And we saw a huge spider on the road and it was gross.

Fall fun

This weekend was full of fun. Friday night Jules, Chloe, and I went to Corn Belly's and played for about 4 hours! I was really fun and Chloe was loving it.

Then on Saturday I went and spent the day with Becky. We made biscuits and gravy and listened to conference together. We had a really good time and we would get teared up at the same time and the laugh :) Then we went to Angi and Tyce's baby shower with was actually really enjoyable. We all just love him so much!

Brandon found got us tickets for the afternoon session of conference so I got to spend time with him. However, it turns out that 2 hours is a little too long for me to sit still in a small seat, so I was struggling through most of it. I really liked conference though. there were a lot of things said that i needed and wanted to hear.

Good news, I finally DTRed with Brandon and so I now officially have a boyfriend. But I actually know him and we are friends and he is nice to me. So I am anticipating a better experience then my last boyfriend.

One last thing, Becky and I perfected our secret high five! It really highlights how awesome we are :)

Fishing in the dark

Last night Brandon took me and AJ fishing :) We actually caught a FISH!! and then we let it go. We had a camp fire and he made dinner on the fire. We ate fish, potatoes, and asparagus. He was so cute. AJ was really cute while we were fishing and I think she played a big part in us only catching one fish. She was just playing in the water and barking at it and it was so cute! Then we sat side by side in the camp chairs while Brandon stood and ate. He is too nice to us.

Life is so good

Life is so good right now. I am loving my classes and I am just super happy. I had a Glee party with some girls in my classes and it was really fun. I like having girl friends and I need to get used to it. Conference weekend is coming up and the means Baby Tyce's baby show is coming up too. We probably wont be able to go to Gardener Village like we do every year but that's ok because we love him so much!!!! Here is something exciting, the boy I have been hanging out with for the past 2 months finally kissed me! Haha maybe TMI but I was excited. He is a really good guy and I think things are going to work out as long as I don't go into distructo mode again :/ It's kind of a family trait... well at least my older sister does it too. Later!

Puppies and Babies!

I love puppies and babies!!! I got to hang out with me new puppy AJ all weekend while I was spending time with my brand new nephew Tyce :) He is the tiniest little baby ever and he keeps his little legs all curled up. I love him so much.
